DS custom built is rooted in generations of construction experience and strong family values. Trained alongside my father – who spent decades building across Oregon in Washington – I learned the importance of honest work, quality, craftsmanship, and doing things right the first time.
With experience, spanning, custom homes, additions, remodeling, and detailed finish work across multiple states, we bring practical skill and integrity to every project. The company is named in honor of my father, whose work ethic continues to guide everything we build.

Our story
DS custom built LLC was built on more than just years of experience-it was built on a foundation that started long before the business ever existed. Growing up, I learned this trade for my dad. He didn’t just teach me how to build. He taught me how to take pride in the work, to do things right the first time, and to stand behind everything you put your name on.
Those lessons stuck. After years in the field, working on everything from small repairs to custom built homes, it became clear that a lot of of what he taught me was missing in the industry-Attention to detail, honesty, and real care for the customer and the finished product. That’s what pushed me to start DS custom built.
This business is about Carrying that standard forward. Every project-Whether it’s a kitchen, bathroom, deck, or ADU-Is done with the same mindset I was taught from the beginning: Don’t cut corners, don’t rush, quality, and build something that lasts. It’s not just about getting the job done-It’s about doing it, right.
